We're Filming a Commercial!

CASTING CALL: We're looking for models to be in our commercial. PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING!! If any information is not provided, your e.mail will not be forwarded to our talent department. 

We're Brown Man Clothing Co. We design funky cool graphic design t-shirts that have a South Asian twist to them. We've been designing and selling our brand for over 5 years now and we've been growing! 

Every year we hold photo events and recruit real models just like yourself to appear in our marketing ads. If you view our site, you'll see images of models which have participated in our previous photo shoots. 

This year, Brown Man Clothing Co. is casting for a commercial that we will be filming in Toronto in July 2015. We're looking for energetic individuals with awesome personalities and who are able to ad lib in front of the camera. Each model will have lines to possibly recite and/or you must be able to express yourself easily in front of the camera. 

We're looking for males and females. We are adhering to a strict screening process! 

You will receive the celebrity treatment as always! Makeup by our amazing team and hair styles by The Fiorio Beauty Academy as well as be photographed by our great team of photographers.

1. Age: 
Please note that those under the age of 19 must obtain parental consent. No exceptions! 

2. Filming with be in the Greater Toronto Area in July. Will you be in the Toronto area in July? 

3. Do you have your own means of transportation to get to and from the shoot? 

4. Are you okay with obtaining unedited images of yourself from the shoot in lieu of your time (trade for picture)? 

5. Why should we choose you to be part of our event? 

6. What does being brown/South Asian mean to you? If you're not South Asian, what does being you mean?

April 1st Photo Shoot @ Besharam, Toronto!

Brown Man Clothing Co. and Adaa Artistry Inc. will be doing an exclusive photo shoot at The Courthouse during the April 1st Besharam event! We've recruited sexy gals to rock our gear and have a girls night out while our photographer snaps pictures of them! This is a first for us and a first for the club to be promoted in such a way! Brown Man Clothing Co. 2.0 is now live!

It has been a very long time since we have blogged about anything really and we apologize! It has been really busy here at Brown Man Clothing Co. Just a quick recap since we last wrote, we had our photo shoot with our 2010 Model Contest Winners in October. What a great job they did and we all had such a great time! Thank you!

The end of 2010 saw lots of exciting new things happen. Our model Angeli Sareen was crowned Miss Kohinoor, congrats doll!

We launched our rhinestone shirt Desi Bitch and our awesome I (Heart) Brown Boys. All to a great response! Thank you.

A return from Thailand by our Marketing Director inspired our very… well um, received Mr. Jihad shirt as shown. Like it or hate it? The comments are in the middle!

We’ve partnered up with some great organizations and are proud to say that 2011 will be even bigger and better than what we achieved in 2010!

New Photo Shoot!

Okay okay! We totally take blame for not updating our Blog! We are so bad! Worse than an auntie with some masala chai stuck in her teeth. It has been insanely busy! From photo shoots to promotions to appearances to drama at the studio, wow, it happens! We promise to update the Blog on what has been going on!

For starters, our new photo shoot with our winners will be taking place on October 23rd. If you have not already checked out who won, you can at our site.

A few months back, we put out the word that we were looking for a new face to be part of our 2011 campaigns. We thought that it would be fun to make this a contest. And wow, what a response! We received interests from all over the world! From the UK to the Middle East to as far as our friends in Australia; everyone wanted to be part of it. And now, here they are; our finalist for our Brown Man Clothing Co. 2010 Model Contest!

Each contestant will get a one on one session with not ONE but TWO photographers. They got to compete and rock our gear to their best ability. After the crazy photo shoot, the images will be posted on our website for you, the public, the vote on who you think deserves the title!

2011 Model Search!

We're at it again! Witht help of Photography by Nosheen, we're looking for new faces to rock our funky desi clothing line! And this time, we're making it into a contest!

Here's the deal... if you think that you've got what it takes to rock our gear, we want to hear from you! Send us a couple of pictures of yourself to info@brownmanclothing.com. If you're selected by panel, you'll get to be part of a group model shoot in Toronto, Canada. From there, the pictures will be posted and voters will vote who rocks the gear the best. The winner will be the face of Brown Man Clothing Co. for 2011 and will be in ALL of our promotional and advertising pieces.

Forgive us for not being on top of things in the last part of 2009. It has been quite the busy year for all of us at Brown Man Clothing Co. From fashion shows to photo shoots to endorsement deals to comedy events... what a year 2009 has been!

What can you expect from us in 2010? Well of course funky and awesome clothing as well as the launch of a product line in a major department store! Yes, we have officially announced it here first and foremost! Brown Man Clothing Co. has been approached by a major department store to carry its funky desi t shirts. Designs and concepts will be unique to this retail outlet so stay tuned!

Brown Man Clothing Co. Models @ Fashion Fundraiser in Support of Mount Sinai

On May 12, 2009, Brown Man Clothing Co. participated in the FIRST ever, Fashion Fundraiser in Support of Mount Sinai Emergency Centre. We were the ONLY South Asian clothing line asked to participate in this one of a kind event!

What an event! The setting was perfect, everyone was hot, photograhers everywhere; it was just a great night period!

Then, the show started! Okay, yeah, it started a bit late but you gotta keep your audience waiting right? Well, it was worth the wait. The Brown Man Clothing Co. line was started with a funky bhangara beat, a classical Indian dancer came out and got the crowd started and then, the Brown Man Clothing Co. girls came out to strut their stuff! The crowd loved it! And we loved it! All of those weeks of practising paid off! We thank all of the girls that rocked the runway for us. We will be posting more pictures as they come.

Brown Man Clothing Co. at Fashion Fundraiser In Support of Mount Sinai Hospital

Brown Man Clothing Co. is honoured to be the ONLY desi t-shirt company to be invited to the first ever Fashion Fundraiser in support of Mount Sinai hospital. This charitable event will feature local designers and artists strutting and performing their stuff in one elaborate and funky venue known as the Berkeley Church.

Brown Man Clothing Co. will be showcasing latest designs and providing giveaways all night. This is a great chance to meet the people behind the brand. Meet the Brown Man Clothing Co. models and get your picture taken with them!

The event takes place on May 12, 2009 @ 6 p.m. Come and check out this great event and be part of history in the making. There will silent auctions, refreshments and of course, a fashion show showcasing Brown Man Clothing Co. stuff and local designers apparel.
